Phoenix Cycles is a Brompton Premier Store, holding Brompton's highest level of certification.
In our workshop:
All Bromptons are cleaned and serviced by, or under the supervision of, owner Mike Hullis, a Brompton expert with nearly 30 years selling and servicing Bromptons.
We carry thousands of Brompton-specific parts for servicing and can usually turn work around the same day when booked in advance.
We may be able to do small repairs ad hoc, however booking is essential for most work. Call 0207 738 2766 for an appointment or stop by with your Brompton for a quotation.
A free courtesy Brompton is available if needed whilst yours is being serviced.

Rear wheel rebuilds
With high mileage use, wheels may need extra attention. For less than half the price of a new wheel, we can rebuild your existing one with Brompton-supplied parts: from £85
Full service & cleaning
With every full service, your Brompton gets a proper strip down and clean in our parts washer - remember, the silver parts should be silver! For Bromptons in regular use, you’ll want to book this every 9-12 months. See below for what our full service includes. Full service: £150 labour + parts

Wheels checked for true and rim wear
Front hub greased
Mudguard fittings checked for damage and parts replaced as necessary*
Chain tensioner idler wheels checked for wear and replaced if necessary*
Pedal bearings and cages checked
Chainring bolts checked
Chainwheel and sprockets checked for wear and replaced if necessary*
Chainset torque setting checked
Seat sleeve checked for wear and replaced if necessary*
Rear hinge checked for excessive play and replaced if necessary*
Lower stop disc checked
Bottom bracket checked for wear
Hinge clamps checked
Handlebar catch and handlebar tightness checked
Headset checked for any play
Brake blocks checked and replaced if necessary*
Gear and brake cables checked and replaced if necessary*
Brake and gear levers checked for correct operation
Frame inspected for any damage
Cycle thoroughly cleaned and lubricated
*Denotes that these parts are an extra cost if replaced. All work is discussed with the customer before work commences.
